Hi, I’m Chloe.

I’m a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Art Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist who is registered and regulated by the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the EMDR Association UK. My master’s degree training is rooted in Psychodynamic theory and I am experienced with trauma and dissociation. I have over 11 years of experience supporting people with mental health difficulties within the NHS and charitable sector; I have worked in CAMHS as well as Perinatal Mental Health Teams.

I am passionate about working with women and girls who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma reactions, PTSD and complex trauma. I work within a mind-body integrative approach and specialise in working with individuals who are experiencing trauma symptoms, birth trauma, relational issues, grief, flashbacks, depression and anxiety.

I believe in continued professional development and I am trained in Art Psychotherapy, Psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, Attachment-focused EMDR, Dyadic Parent-Infant therapy, compassion-focused therapy, Systemic Family Therapy (level one), and Narrative Therapy. I have also attended intensive training from the Maudsley Liaison Psychiatry summer school to expand and deepen my theoretical knowledge and practice. I use broad training, skills and knowledge to form a ‘toolbox’ that allows me to provide personalised treatment plans for clients.

I offer a warm, welcoming, judgment-free space for women and girls wanting to engender change in their lives. I hold a small caseload for children and can work with families.

"Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives." - Bessel van der Kolk, "The Body Keeps the Score". I hold the importance of a safe, reliable and warm space at the heart of my practice, we will work in collaboration and I will help you overcome what has happened to you.

The idea is not to replace traditional therapy, but rather to support those on the journey to better mental health.

Therapy Sisters™ has since expanded the company and now provides specialist support to mental health professionals with a focus on preventing burnout. If you are a mental health professional you can join our free community group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/creativehealersxtherapysisters

Therapy Sisters™ provide workbooks, therapeutic tools, training and consultation. The team welcome ideas for creative projects and encourages you to reach out.
